The Wrong Way Home

I dragged Sher Nong along with me to MPO concert with a Lord Of The Rings soundtrack theme on the 20th. We took the Subang Jaya commuter near Carrefour to KL Central and took the LRT in the wrong direction and went back. Had a ripoff dinner and met Aik Hooi, Aik Hong, Anne and Savy at the MPO entrance. Real cool performances although the solos and riffs got tedious. Great seats in the Upper Circle for only RM15, yes I know you're jealous.

Yays the hotshots.

Band exchange was ok...
Pei Hwa's lower brass sounded best among their sections.
I chatted to Mr. Euphonium until they all called him president and I went WTF.

Drill formation we made was hilarious, in a way.

Oh yea I won't let prejudice against you manifest, I won't spoil my band experience just because you are prejudiced against me.

Event At Klang Parade

I took the KTM.

Went to Klang for a Rotary Club event with Aik Hooi, Pauline and Wei Yi ( I think).

The journey to Klang Parade is as usual in Klang.

Jam to jam.
Aik Hooi the poser. T'was her birthday on the day before (12th Dec.)
Got there later.

Met some cool people and Gary Low again.

LEE LEONG KING LOOKS SO MUCH LIKE MY UNCLE.

Apparently the crowd wasn't at Klang Parade but at a newer mall.
Mr. Rudi Luchman making his speech.

You can see my comments on that here.
Starbucks sponsored refreshments: some new drink called Cherry syrup and chocolate frappucino I think?
Starbucks employee.
The Wishmas Tree.

Graffiti

They had a baby contest in between, a colouring contest and also had Yan Ting (some rising star) over for some promotion event. The Rising Star.

Performances "by Viva Music Studio" were later at night.

Brian was downstage covering up for the somewhat-mediocre violinists on-stage.
Comedy and irony into one.
What's that called, I dunno.

Leon was good though, real tacky Irish dance.

I got tired out of boredom not exhaustion.
Crazy.

Smile. You're on candid camera.

Not So Farewell

So some real nice people organized a farewell for Tze Lik yesterday.

As usual things were what you'd call a blast.

Joshua is good at piano.

We ate lots of junk food.

Soft drinks, I like them but I'm not desperate.

We went to the padang after a fake mamak visit.

It was all crazy.

Some of us played badminton.

Heck why am I talking about all this.

Tze Lik lend me your O level material I'm NOT TAKING SPM.

Only either SATs or O levels.

Viva!

I went to Viva Music Studio in Klang yesterday.
I took the old KTM train near Carrefour to this really small(seriously) station called Teluk Gadung.

"Country road, take me home...To the place I belong"

Klang is a busy area.
That's Missy Aik Hooi with a student and his dad

I'm playing at this performance scheduled to happen next Saturday in Klang Parade.

I'm toast.

The Long Road Home

My damn return train was delayed 40 minutes. Can you imagine that? There were no benches. Airplane delays are bad enough and at least they have an air-conditioned terminal.

Oh yea meet Pauline, music teacher.

Hin Hua's Form 1 textbooks are funny.

They've got a diff BM textbook.
Higher standard Chiense.(duh)
But really low standard Music (yes they take it) and Math.

Damn, Sher Hann was right!
Er, "LOL"
